How soakies work
The highly-absorbent polymer inside the pad swiftly absorbs blood, condensate and other
undesirable liquids through a perforated, non-leak HDPE layer on one or both sides and binds
them permanently and safely as an SAP gel. This significantly improves the ambient conditions
inside the receptacle.
The result is no bacterial growth and longer product freshness.
With a variety of formats and absorption capacities ranging from 30 ml to 6 litres (up to 10 l/m²),
the soakies range covers practically every conceivable application in domestic households, the retail
sector and foodstuffs industry. Our products can be easily adapted to customer requirements (e.g.
in terms of size, colour, material combinations or absorption capacity).
